Inauguration of Medical Simulation Center UCMS
(New Skill Lab) - 15th May 2024
The Medical Simulation Center (New Skill lab) of UCMS was inaugurated on 15th May 2024 by Prof Mahesh Verma (Chairman, Governing Body UCMS and Vice Chancellor, Indraprastha University, New Delhi) in the presence of the Principal UCMS, Prof Piyush Gupta, Prof Prerna Batra (Chairperson, Skill Lab), Prof Sumita Halder (Coordinator, Skill Lab) and Prof Khan Amir Maroof (Coordinator, Medical Education Unit). The Skill Lab is under the aegis of the Medical Education Unit of UCMS and GTBH Delhi. Some pics of the event are given below.

2022 - Faculty training in Skill Lab
Prof Prerna Batra and Prof Sumita Halder were nominated to attend the Skill Lab training at AIIMS Jodhpur in 2022.
Around 60 faculty members have been trained regarding skill based training in medical education under the Curriculum Implementation Support Program and Revised Basic Course Workshops.
